Park Place Senior Living has a special place in the hearts of the people of Fort Wayne. But it also has a special place in our hearts. That’s because Park Place was our very first community.
Park Place Senior Living opened in 2011 as part of a large healthcare-focused area, and was named ‘Park Place’ as a way to integrate and partner with neighboring Parkview Health hospital campus.
In 2016, Park Place completed a 32-unit expansion, bringing it to 131,000 square feet, and 165 units, including independent living garden homes, assisted living apartments and Memory Care studios.
“We tell people that Park Place is an experience more than simply a place,” said Kristin Townsley, Executive Director at Park Place. “Our residents are happy here, they have privacy, but they also seek each other out during the course of the day for a little company over lunch, Happy Hour or to catch a movie or activity. There is a real comfort in knowing you’re among friends and people who feel like family.”
